While Idyll Construction has recently focused upon residential building we have years of experience in Commercial and multifamily construction. We are currently developing projects in Mixed Use Residential over commercial, multifamily duplex and Tri Plex and Workforce housing.

Mixed Use, Residential Over Commercial

Providing residential housing over commercial use is a very efficient land use strategy. Idyll Construction is currently designing and permitting the first new mixed-use building in Ft Myers Beach’s Iconic Time Square. These unique projects, being constructed in a high traffic pedestrian commercial area addresses the need to expedite the construction timeline as much as practical to minimize the impact on the local pedestrians and businesses and the costs associated with working in these busy spaces. Coupling Hybrid Concrete and Steel foundations with modular methods ensure that new businesses can get built without significant impact on the neighboring business.

Multi Family

Duplex, Tri Plex and other multifamily projects can also benefit from our hybrid and modular methods. Wherever the density allows, duplex and triplex homes provide exemptional value and Return on investment. Where greater density and unit count is available Modular and Hybrid modular is an excellent method of creating any build to rent housing.


Workforce Housing

Our local community has an extraordinary need for workforce housing.  Leveraging the efficiency of Modular and recent incentives supporting workforce housing, Idyll Construction is developing scalable, highly cost efficient workforce housing communities for Lee and Collier County.
